Dozer I am just now reading this. This forum does not have the option to generate an e-mail when a new post is posted; otherwise I would have responded sooner. (If it has that option I just haven't found it yet...plz enlighten me moderator if it does.) I think the majority of customers are probably satisfied. The more technical customers have higher expections. I don't want to bash Frontier BB but I have had my share of frustrations. Basically if all you want is high speed internet your expectations are met 98% of the time. Occasionally a storm or UFO might knock a tower out. In that case, internet service might be down temporarily. I was with xyz provider before Frontier and even with dial up they provided web page services and offered a much savvier webmail app. (I was paying less than half what I pay Frontier BB.) Those are superficial but small things mean something to me. The deeper issues, I have already laid out in another post aptly titled "Complaints." I see no need to re-hash those issues. Kudos to the patient soul who answers the phone at Frontier BB and listened to an upset me hammer over those issues since no one cared enough to respond to the post which by the way should tell you something Dozer. Over Labor Day weekend, I had no e-mail nor internet for 4.5 days - do you think I was credited 4.5 days on my bill? A few weekends ago, internet was also down for a day. So for the month of Sept out of 30 days 5-6 days my internet was not available (that I am aware of, possibly more time) Where I live I don't have many options for high speed internet--Frontier was it. Too bad for me. Laura

I'm not, its nice for normal browsing and it it wouldn't cut off or constantly lag it would be pretty good for downloads and games. I'm quite dissapointed with these "upgrades" they have done. When we first got it, it was nice, it had about 100-200 ms ping and didn't spike or cut off. Now, they do these upgrades and it stays a horrible 1k-2k ping with 5k spikes every few minutes (in some cases seconds)

Satisfaction
I just found this forum. So my answer to this question is way late. I am on the Tech Committee for the small community of Keene, here in north Texas. We were charged with the duty of finding a broadband service provider for our community. We interviewed a lot of companys.....everone that wanted to make a presentation. After a lengthy process and many meetings, we settled on Frontier BB. And we are glad we did. Frontier is now the official provider for all of Keene. Some background. We did not have DSL available in our community and were told repeatedly, for 2 years, that it was not available. When word got out that we were interviewing companies for broadband, guess what, DSL suddenly got available. Sort of. Some suits showed up at our meeting and said that they would be happy to provide DSL for us. We now have it, but it is very limited as to where you can receive it. I live on the main road coming into Keene, and it is not available to me. I operate a small home business, and have to transmit large files over the internet on a regular basis....daily and hourly. My service with Frontier has been basically bulletproof. I did have a couple of issues, but it had to do with the rain and the trees growing faster than my antenna was tall. A 5' extention to my antenna fixed the problem. Until I got hit by lightning. Frontier sent their tech guy out, fixed my system, and they allowed me credit for the items in my home that got taken out due to the pole's surge protector not being grounded correctly. As long as a company will admit when the problem is theirs, fix it and provide me with credit for items destroyed, they have a lifelong customer. My service has excellent. I am a happy customer. And I don't know how the bear icon got on my post. I am much more friendly that that bear looks! Anyone that wants to email me to visit about their service is welcome to. My email is rick@rickn.com Rick
